About Me
My name is Julie, and I am a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP 389194).
I completed my BA in Psychology and Sociology at Dickinson College, USA. After which, I pursued my MA in Counselling at Goldsmiths, UOL, UK.
With 7 years of experience in private practice, I primarily work with adults who wish to reflect on their childhood experiences, relationship difficulties with family, friends, and significant others, and their other stressors in life. I strive for my space to be engaging, supportive, and thought-provoking, as we find ways of making meaning out of life’s experiences. And I believe that an atmosphere of trust, safety, and collaboration is essential in the therapy room. It is with these ingredients that the difficult conversations become easier to approach.
Getting reacquainted with ourselves and what we truly want out of our lives has no destination or expiration date. Any time can be the right time to learn more about the relationships we have with ourselves and others around us. I look forward to being alongside you in the insights and perceptions that you will gain.
Practising at Essence Rooms, Singapore’s original self-service therapy room provider (est. 2017).
