About Me
I'm a Masters Trained clinical counsellor who came to this work through experiencing my own life, not just through a license to practice. . I grew up with selective mutism, became a chronic people-pleaser through adolescence and adulthood, and spent two decades in corporate and organisational settings learning how to read the emotional stories beneath people's professional performances. I have personally navigated migration, grief, career reinvention, and motherhood without a village around me.
That combination of lived experience and clinical training means I understand both the external pressures my clients face and the internal patterns driving them which is why my clients who put their trust in me perhaps feel truly understood from the very first session.
My work is especially suited to adults navigating life's tough phases: parenthood, new mothers, menopause, puberty, divorce, career change, relocation, toxic relationship patterns, low self-worth, and emotional exhaustion.
Practising at Essence Rooms, Singapore’s original self-service therapy room provider (est. 2017).
